VegPROs’ Veg Induction is for those working in the vegetable industry.

The full induction will take approximately 40 minutes and consists of 10 modules:

• Personal Protective Equipment
• Chemical Safety
• Machinery Safety
• Behaviours and Manners
• Bio Security
• Emergency Prevention and Response
• Hygiene
• General Safety
• Manual Handling
• Hydration and Environment

When working in Australia, your employer has an obligation to ensure you are safe. You also have an obligation to maintain safety on the worksite. This induction helps everyone understand what’s expected and meet these obligations.

This induction covers a lot of material in a short time and is designed to work in conjunction with your site specific induction and training. It is the minimum standard expected by people working in the vegetable industry.
